Rialto Police Investigate Homicide of Sasha Pye

On Saturday, March 27, 2022, at approximately 12:29 AM, the Rialto Police Department Communications Center received a call regarding a subject being stabbed. Rialto Police Officers arrived and located a single female victim, identified as Sasha Pye, and detained the suspect, the victim’s sister Krystina Pye. Sasha was unresponsive and found to have been stabbed multiple times. She was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center where she remained in critical condition at that time. Krystina was taken into custody and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for PC 664/187 – Attempt Murder with a bail amount of $1,000,000.

On March 31, 2022, at approximately 2:10 AM, medical personnel from Arrowhead Regional Medical Center made notification the Rialto Police Homicide Division that Sasha had succumb to her injuries and perished. Notification has been made to the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office with intent to charge Krystina Pye with the updated criminal charge of PC 187 – Murder.
