Lieutenant Rocky Johnson began his career in 2005 as a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputy. Lieutenant Johnson obtained his Juris Doctorate and is currently admitted to the State Bar of California. Lieutenant Johnson is committed to protecting the citizens of Rialto City and supporting the Constitution of the United States and the State of California.

Lieutenant Johnson is currently assigned to the patrol division. A few of Lieutenant Johnson’s previous assignments include administrative supervisor, Community Outreach Coordinator, Active Shooter Tactical Response and Emergency Medicine Administrator, Major Enforcement Team, Firearm Instructor, Advance Officer Instruction, Investigations, Internal Affairs, Jail Operations, and Court Security. Lieutenant Johnson specializes in incident command of large-scale critical incidents and civil liability issues.
