Lieutenant Javier Pulido began his law enforcement career with the Los Angeles Police Department in April 2005, working in the Southwest and Newton Community Divisions. He made a lateral transfer to the Rialto Police Department in August 2007.
Lieutenant Pulido’s career serving the community has included roles as a Patrol Officer, SWAT Operator, Field Training Officer, gangs and narcotics investigator with the Street Crime Attack Team, G.R.E.A.T. Program Coordinator and Instructor, Cal-GRIP Grant Program Coordinator, Range Master, Honor Guard, and Personnel and Training. He supervised the Personnel and Training Bureau and the Honor Guard Unit as a sergeant.
Lieutenant Pulido obtained a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and graduated from the Sherman Block Supervisory Leadership Institute, Class 542.
