On Sunday, January 9, 2022, at about 1:10 p.m., the Rialto Police Department’s Communication Center received multiple 9-1-1 calls regarding a man armed with a knife and whose hands were covered in blood. Officers arrived on scene and located the suspect at the entrance of a gas station. The suspect was found still armed with a knife and entered into the store of the gas station while employees and patrons hid and called 9- 1-1.

Rialto Police Department will hold a DUI Driver’s License Checkpoint in the south-east portion of the city, on December 15, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
On November 11, 2023, Rialto Police Department received reports of a vehicle versus motorcycle traffic collision in the 1400 block of West Foothill Boulevard.
On October 29, 2023, officers responded to Cedar Avenue and Foothill Boulevard for an unknown injury traffic collision involving a vehicle and pedestrian.
